Magick is the art of using energy and simple tools to improve your life. Many of us do Magick in small ways when we wish upon a star or when we carry a penny for good luck. Candle Magick is a favorite of many. It is easy to learn and just feels yummy.

Here's the formula:

1 wish + 1 candle = success.

Make your desire clear in your mind. Choose a color to represent your wish, such as green for money or pink for love, and purchase a votive candle in that color. Sit comfortably with the candle in your hands. Close your eyes and think quietly about your wish, feeling all your hopes and dreams for your wish flowing into the candle. When the candle feels like it is full of your wish, place the candle in a fire-proof holder and put it in a safe place, such as inside a sink (and away from curtains, paper, or towels). Light the candle and let it burn all the way down (making sure you are home to keep everything safe). You have just worked Candle Magick!
